Dymo Label Printers

To print labels through Elixir you must purchase a Dymo label printer. We recommend the Dymo 550 Label printer which can be purchased from Ascent, Warehouse Stationary, Officemax etc.

Dymo Labl Software v8

Please note we do not support Dymo Label Software v8. You will need to uninstall this and run the Dymo Connect as linked below:

Installation on a PC

1. Download the Dymo Connect software from Dymo
2. Install the software with the custom installation type.
3. Disable the Dymo Connect Word Add-in (Select This feature will not be available). This causes conflicts with Google Chrome.

Installation on a Mac

1. Download the Dymo Connect Mac software from Dymo
2. Install as per the installer instructions.
3. After the installation is completed, click close and do NOT move the installer to the trash.
4. After clicking close, a black terminal window (or 2) will pop-up with a password and a key symbol. This may take 30-60 seconds. Approve any security prompts.
5. Type your computer account password next to key symbol (the password will not show up) and hit enter.
6. Restart the computer.
