Careway as a Co-Provider

Careway provides funded treatment pathways for eligible patients. Learn more at: https://www.careway.co.nz/

Elixir can notify you when a patient may be eligible for Careway support and automatically include Careway as a CC recipient in your letters.

Enable Careway

  1. Go to Admin → Integrations → Careway
  2. Select the Careway contact you would like to use

Remember

Careway contacts are automatically generated in your contact list. Search for Careway and select your preferred contact type (EDI or email).

Once a contact is selected, the Careway integration will be enabled.

Tip

To disable Careway, simply click the Enable/Disable button in the Careway integration settings.

Using Careway with ARTP Forms

  1. Create a new ARTP form
  2. Select the referral you want to use for this ARTP form
  3. Select one or more ACC procedures that are part of the Careway programme
  4. Save and lock the ARTP form
  5. After saving and locking the ARTP form, the following message will be displayed:

Click Yes

  • The referral attached to the ARTP form will automatically add the selected Careway contact as a CC recipient
  • The Careway contact will be highlighted in yellow in the CC list to indicate it was added automatically as part of the automation Careway CC Referral
  • From this point on, every time this referral is selected in a letter, Careway will be automatically included as a CC

Click No

  • No action is taken
  • Careway will not be added to the referral or to any related letters

Letters with Careway CC

Once Careway has been accepted for a referral:

  1. Select the referral when creating a letter
  2. The Careway contact will automatically be added as a CC recipient Careway CC Letter
    This will continue unless the Careway integration is disabled or the CC is manually removed.
