Note
Notes can be used for storing internal clinical information or records. Files and images etc can be attached to Notes.
Create a Note
When in a patient's record, you create a new Note by choosing then selecting Note
-
Fill out the relevant details, title etc.
If the patient has one active referral, the referral will be automatically attached.
-
You can then click the Upload Attachment button, and select any attachment you wish to upload and attach to the note. You can also drag files from your computer across onto this button to upload as attachments.
You can attach a range of files such as images, PDF's, sound or video recordings etc.
-
Save the Note (don't lock it).
General Tips
- Clicking the New Image button starts our image editor with a blank slate if you want to draw something, or write by hand.
- You can use your Letter Templates in patient notes.
- Saving a note as draft will add it to your Office > Draft Notes list. This is useful if you want to remind yourself to come back to it later.
- Save & Lock is used when you want to lock a note. It cannot be edited after it has been locked.
Tip
You can pin a Note to make it always appear at the top of your list of notes for that patient.
