Emailing & Texting Patients
When in a patient's record, you have the option to send an email or a text message to that patient.
Sending an Email
To send a patient an email, click > Email.
Fill out the relevant details, Email Type, Consultant and Subject etc.
Write the content of your email in the main editor box, using formatting as required or insert a letter template using the "INS" button.
Attach notes, letters, documents in the patients notes to the email using button [Select Attachments]

The footer buttons will do the following: - Cancel - cancel the email (does not save the email) - Save draft - saves the email as a draft to be continued and sent later. - Send - send the email to the patient.
Sending a Text
To send a text to a patient, click button(New) > Text
Enter your message into the large free text box or insert a template using the “ins” button.
Note: You will need to create a “Plain” type letter template in order to use them in a text message.
Click Create to send.
Schedule a text
You can schedule a text message to send at a later date by clicking “Send Later” and choosing a send date. The text message will be sent at 12pm on that day.
