Getting Started
Before using Elixir we recommend that you look through our Getting Started guide to ensure you are set up and ready to go.

Team (From top to bottom)
Team - Enter your details
- Outbound Email Reply to Address: The email you want your patient to reply to when you send them an email.
- Custom Email Address: Enter an email address to easily send items to your inbox. This address is also used as the 'From' email when emails are sent from Elixir.
- Healthlink ID: Enter your Healthlink EDI
- HPI Facility ID: Enter your HPI Facility ID - this enabled electronic prescriptions and will auto-populate in your ACC18s and ARTPs
- ARTP Contract Number: Enter your ARTP Contract Number - this will auto-populate in your ARTPs.
Contact - Enter your contact details
Letter Branding
- Add your logo, header, footer and contact information for your letters.
Users
- Create your additional Users.
- Add consultant's signatures.
- Add Roles - These will auto-populate on their letters.
Clinics
- Setup your Clinic Types (e.g. clinic, surgery).
Appointment Types
- Setup your Appointment Types (e.g. Initial, Follow Up, Surgery).
Letter Templates
- Familiarise yourself with Elixir’s letter editor and where/how you can use it.
- Create handy templates for:
- Letters
- Label printers
- Prescriptions
- Test Requests.
- Patient Forms
Custom Fields
- Create Referral Custom Fields for things like ACC/Insurance claim numbers.
Xero Accounts
- Connect your Xero account(s)
Two Factor Authentication
- Setup your Two Factor Authentication for additional security. All users need to do this.
Timetable Screen
- Configure your availability schedule in the Timetable.
Patient Screen
- Create your first patient and make them an appointment.
