Dymo Label Templates

Customise what appears on your labels by selecting New (top right)

Dymo-Creation

  1. Enter a Name: For internal use only (helps identify the template later).

  2. Select Label Type

    • Patient Labels: Print labels containing the patient’s basic details (such as name and NHI). These can be printed directly from the Patient Details screen.
    • Patient Address Labels: Print mailing labels that include the patient’s full postal address. These are useful for sending letters or documents and can be printed from the Patient Details screen.
    • GP Labels: Print labels with the General Practitioner’s (GP) details associated with the patient. These labels are typically used when sending correspondence to the patient’s GP. They can be printed from the Patient Details screen.
    • Appointment Labels: Print a label related to a specific appointment. After creating the appointment, click on the created appointment and then click the Label button in the left panel to print.
    • Agenda Labels: Print labels for the appointments scheduled on a single day in one batch, in the agenda view. Useful for preparing labels for the day’s agenda.

  3. Add Variables: Use the INS menu to insert system variables (e.g., patient name, NHI, DOB).

  4. Add Custom Text: You can include additional static text.

Avery Label Templates

Elixir supports printing full Avery sheets, with multiple labels per sheet (currently 33 labels per sheet: L7157).
Avery-Creation

  1. New Blocks: Each block represents a section of the sheet. Blocks can contain different information (e.g., 5 labels with patient details, 15 with referral info).

  2. Number of Labels: Numeric input for how many labels this block uses.

  3. Delete: Click the delete icon to remove a block.

  4. Fill Direction: Left to Right and Top to Bottom

  5. Printing Avery Labels

    • Available in Patient Details > Patient Label. Templates with the subject "Avery" will appear for selection.
